Yes, there are tests which determine that you are suffering from swine flu or any other seasonal flu infection. When you consult a doctor as you witness some extreme symptoms, your doctor would advise you to go for a test before stating your treatment.

How to prevent it?

Here are a few things you can do to make sure that you and your family doesn’t catch Swine Flu.

  • Get a H1N1 Vaccination, if you hear it everyday that swine flu is on the rise in your area, then you can keep yourself and your family at bay. Just taker the H1N1 shot.
  • Keep yourself and your surroundings clean. Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently. While stepping outside always carry an alcohol based hand sanitizer.
  • Stay away from the crowds if possible. And if you are a person who is at higher risk, like a pregnant woman or a baby or an elderly person, then you should avoid going to the crowded places at all costs.
  • People who are already suffering from Swine Flu should stay at home and take proper medication as prescribed by the doctor.
