Dear daughter
The day I held you for the first time I knew that I would never be able to express it to you in words what I feel for you and hence I am writing this letter on Father’s Day which I want you to read when you will be 18.
I want you to know that although I don’t say it much but I love you. Infact you are the reason why I love your Maa more than I ever thought is possible.
Being Proud doesn’t even come close to what you make me feel when you accomplish those itsy bitsy tasks of yours. I feel the “eureka” crackling in you every time you find out how a toy works or which key will fit into which lock.
As you are growing up so fast, I don’t  think the time is far away when you will be all grown up. You will ask me a million whys in a day and your dada will surly try to satisfy your queries. Sometimes you will not understand and I know you ill think that I am not cool. As much as I want to be the coolest dad in town, I want you to know that even I get conxerned sometimes. I know you don’t  understand me being scared or worried but there will be times when I will  ask you to call me if you will be late in coming back home or if I will not be thrilled with the idea of you going on an all girls trip or a vacation. Its not that I don’t trust you but it’s just me being overly protective for all that I have. You are my world and I know I can’t  keep you close but I ll try to kep you safe.
I want you to know that I am always available for a conversation, no matter how far you are ,you can always reach me and I promise I’ll be all ears with little advise and absolutely no judgements.
The reason I am telling you all this is because you will be stepping out in the world pretty soon, which is not an easy place to be. You might think that your teachers are tuff to handle but I’ll suggest you to wait till you have a boss.
Just remember that there is no one in the world who can shake you up from the inside. Whether it’s your teachers or your boss or anybody for that matter of fact,no one can discourage you in your life until and unless you let them to be.
Lastly I would like you to remove two words from your vocabulary for always
The two words “just” and “only” will make your world smaller. It’s only a job ,it’s just a small oppurtunity …….these two words are absolute opportunity killers. It’s the job. It’s the opportunity……is what will make you successful.
Don’t get me wrong, when I say success I don’t mean lots and lots of money. Success to me is Independence. And I want you to be as successful as you can be. Be the best of who you are.
Your Dada will always be happy and proud of you.
Love
Dada
