Every Indian woman wants her kitchen to be the perfect place for her to find solace. Since Cooking is the passion of most of us, we need some hacks to make our cooking better and more efficient. The time saving tricks, the hacks to keep our food fresh for longer are some of the hidden mantras which will enhance your cooking experience.

Here are the best kitchen hacks which will make your day in the kitchen far much more simpler:

Keep the puris in the fridge for about 10-15 minutes before deep frying. This will make them bloat up easily and they will absorb very less oil. They will be crispier than ever and the color would be golden too.

Wash your salad leaves with ice cold water. This will make them retain their crunchiness.

Put chopped bitter gourd in salt water for at least 20 minutes before cooking it, to do away with the bitterness

Want to prevent milk and water from spilling over while boiling them? Place a long spoon in the vessel and the contents will never spill over.

To remove the smell of onion and garlic from your hands, rub them against a stainless steel vessel or your steel sink.

Are you a health freak and still want to munch on some of those delicious fries? Worry not!! Just boil the potatoes before deep frying them. I will make your fries crunchy and less oily.

To prevent your cake from getting stale, stick bread slices on the cut area. You can do it with the help of toothpicks. This will retain the moisture of the cake and it will last longer.

When wooden spoons and plastic lunch boxes don’t exactly look (or smell) like they used to, boil them in a pot of water with lemon juice and leave them lying in the sun to dry.

Grind some salt in your mixer to keep the sharpness of it’s blades intact.

As we all are supreme Rajma lovers, this one’s special. If you have forgotten to pre soak Rajma, then you can bring it to a boil in a pan, then ad ice cubes to it and pressure cook it.
